The Brief:

The client's family home wasn’t big enough for their increasing family size and not wanting to move, we were contacted to maximize their living space.

The Job:

With no room to move sideways or upstairs we realized the best use of space was to go down and create a basement. This job consisted of digging a large basement area, underpinning the existing building and once the dig was complete fixing up to provide bedrooms for the new additions to the family. The early stages of this project included consultation with our architects and engineers to provide a solution that the local planning department would be happy with.

Once planning was approved we got to work. Once the dig had been completed and the building underpinned we moved on to providing the wiring and plumbing required. Next we installed a staircase, flooring, bathrooms, kitchen and windows before painting and decorating and adding the finishing touches. We even fitted a stained glass window! The duration of this job was 4 months.

The Result:

What had begun as a cramped family home was transformed into a spacious maisonette with ample living space. The clients were particularly impressed by the head height and light that the basement provided.

The Brief:

The client contacted us looking to turn a large studio flat into a comfortable one bedroom flat in order to increase rental value.

The Job:

This problem here was to maximize the limited amount of space while making a comfortable one bedroom flat. We were able to provide a solution which used space in an efficient way while supplying quality materials to leave an exclusive feel to this Marylebone apartment. Creating a separate bedroom and open plan kitchen/diner transformed the feel of the flat altogether. Our ability to source high grade kitchens and bathrooms at affordable prices left the customer with a great rental product. Duration of this job was 12 working days.

The Result:

A wonderful one bed flat which the client was able to rent within days of the job being completed. Luxurious bathroom design and practical yet stylish planning led to a great product.

Redecorate 2 bedroom flat

The Brief:

We were called by a client who needed their two bedroom flat completely redecorated. The flat had become tired after years as a rented property, now the owners were moving back in and wanted it looking good as new.

The Job:

After initial discussion with a project manager and a visit from one of our estimators the client gave us the go ahead to strip, skim and paint all the walls, ceilings and woodwork in the flat using high quality Farrow & Ball paint. The duration of the job was 5 working days.

The Result:

Everyone was happy when the client came in to inspect. The flat was returned to an immaculate condition and the client couldn’t wait to move back in.
